At Edexia, we've always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the world, particularly in education. We see the education system as simultaneously the most important and most underserved societal system. Our journey began when we co-founded a previous EdTech company in the tutoring and resources domain. While this venture helped us achieve some of our business-related career goals, we found it challenging to make the meaningful impact we had envisioned. This realisation led us to pivot and co-found Edexia, focusing entirely on creating lasting, positive change in education.

Our expertise lies in software engineering. This is why we collaborate closely with schools and educators, actively listening and consolidating their collective expertise and wisdom to determine what will have a positive impact and what to build. Our job is then to figure out how to bring these ideas to life.

We see ourselves as an independent research team striving to maximise our impact. The schools we work with are collaborators, not customers. Together, we work to innovate, improve, and create lasting change in education. We're not another EdTech company trying to profit from the education system; we're here to try to make a real difference.

To improve every facet of education as much as possible. We're starting with assessment, often one of the most problematic yet crucial pillars of education. From there, we intend to expand our impact to every corner of the educational landscape.
